3D Animator

Role & responsibilities

• Create high-quality 3D animations for characters, creatures, and environmental elements.
• Work closely with riggers and character artists to ensure fluid and realistic movements.
• Implement animations in the game engine (Unreal Engine)
• Collaborate with game designers to ensure animations align with gameplay mechanics.
• Polish animations with attention to timing, weight, and emotion to enhance immersion.
• Work with motion capture data and refine animations as needed.
• Troubleshoot animation issues and optimize performance.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proficiency in Maya or Blender for animation.
• Good understanding of body mechanics, physics, and animation principles.
• Experience working with game engines (Unreal Engine)

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with procedural animation or physics-based animations.
• Understanding of rigging and skinning
• Previous work on AA/AAA or indie game projects.
