Intern Game Artist

As a Game Artist Intern, you will work closely with our Art Director and Art Team to help develop characters, environments, and props that define the visual style of our game. This role is perfect for aspiring artists looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional game development environment.

Role & responsibilities

• Create high-quality concept art for characters, environments, and props based on the games mythology-inspired theme.
• Work closely with the Art Director and Game Designers to align artwork with the games vision.
• Iterate on concepts based on feedback, refining designs for production.
• Conduct visual research to enhance designs and contribute fresh creative ideas.
• Maintain consistency in style and follow the established art direction.
• Assist in developing mood boards and color palettes to define the game's visual aesthetics.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong understanding of composition, lighting, color theory, and anatomy.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Procreate, or other digital painting tools.
• Ability to create quick thumbnails and detailed illustrations.
• Passion for games and a keen eye for fantasy and mythology-based art styles.
• Ability to accept and implement feedback effectively.
• A portfolio showcasing concept art skills (characters, environments, props).

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):

• Familiarity with 3D tools like Blender or ZBrush for basic blockouts.
• Interest in Indian mythology and folklore.
• Experience with storyboarding or visual storytelling.
