Concept Artist

Role & responsibilities

• Create concept art for characters, environments, creatures, props, and UI elements.
• Work closely with the Art Director and game designers to establish the visual style and tone of the game.
• Generate multiple design iterations, exploring different artistic directions and compositions.
• Develop mood boards, color keys, and style guides to maintain artistic consistency.
• Collaborate with 3D modelers, animators, and VFX artists to ensure concepts are effectively translated into in-game assets.
• Receive and apply feedback from team members to refine designs and improve quality.

Requirements:

• A strong portfolio showcasing concept art skills, including characters, environments, and props.
• Experience with digital art(Krita, Sketchbook, Procreate)
• Good understanding of color theory, composition, lighting, and perspective.
• Ability to work in different art styles as needed.
• Strong sketching, rendering, and visual storytelling abilities.
• Ability to take constructive feedback and make revisions accordingly.
• Passion for video games and a keen eye for artistic details.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of 3D software like Blender, ZBrush, or Maya (a plus but not required).
• Familiarity with Unreal Engine and how concept art translates into game assets.
• Experience working with mood boards, thumbnails, and iterative design processes.
• A degree or diploma in illustration, concept art, game art, or a related field (not mandatory, but a plus).
