Assistant Manager- Demand (Sales)- U.P+ U.K

Role & responsibilities:

*The candidate currently working as in the Managerial role (TSM/ ASM handling a team can apply).

* The candidate will be handling Uttar Pradesh & Uttarakhand territory (H.Q will be Kanpur)

• Develop and execute a comprehensive category strategy aligned with the company's overall objectives. Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to drive category growth and profitability.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating favourable terms, pricing and contractual agreements
• Onboarding new customers to expand the category offerings and maintain competitive advantage.
• Work closely with key customers, understanding their unique requirements and pain points.
• Collaborate with various internal stakeholders, including supply, finance, operations and supply chain to ensure effective category management.
• Monitor market dynamics, competitive pricing, and profit margins within the category. Implement pricing strategies and promotional activities to maximise revenue and profitability, while ensuring value for customers.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics and competitive landscape within the B2B sector. Conduct regular analysis and provide recommendations to stay ahead of market changes and emerging opportunities.
• Regular visits to Mandis in the morning to nurture relationships with key customers and to gather market information is mandatory.

What are we looking for:

• Graduates from any institutions with a proven experience in category management
• Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs and industry trends
• Minimum 3 years of experience in handling and managing key customers
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify insights and make data-driven decisions
• Exceptional negotiation and vendor management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders of the company
• Insights on working of Mandis is a plus point but not mandatory
• Preferred Industry : FMCG/Telecom
