Job Title: Packaging Procurement/ Development - Manager

Qualification: B Tech/ B.sc/ M.sc with PG diploma in packaging.

Experience: 3- 8 yrs in relevant field.

Place: Bengaluru

Roles & Responsibilities

Packaging Development :

1. Industry experience preferably in Fruits export industries/ F&V /Kraft paper cartons industries/ Plastic Moulding industries/ E-com companies.

2. To develop innovative and cost-effective packaging solutions to meet out correct product requirements and sustainability goals.

3. To collaborate with cross-functional teams (product development, category, supply chain, and logistics) to ensure packaging meets/ requirements, functional and aesthetic standards.

4. To collaborate with industries expert / institutions to work on new materials, packaging designs, technologies, to improve packaging efficiency/sustainability and cost.

Packaging Procurement:

1. Source, evaluate, and manage relationships with packaging manufacturers and all vendors.

2. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to achieve cost-effective solutions.

3. Monitor packaging inventory levels and collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams for timely replenishments.

4. Manage supplier performance, ensuring delivery timelines and quality standards as per specs.

5. Having good knowledge of Vendor management/ operational management / inventory management and stakeholder management.

Cost Optimization & Analysis:

1. To conduct analysis on packaging costs, material's usages, and efficiencies to optimize packaging spend and specs.

2. Track industry trends to identify opportunities for reducing costs without compromising quality.

3. To conduct benchmark study periodically, to ensure market knowledge and new developments with product improvement, ahead of all.
