Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Past experience in Pressure vessels, coolers, process piping, API Plan, Heat Exchanger in Design Department, Software worked on Creo 2.0, Catia, Sound knowledge about ASME U, U2, S Stamp drawings, Knowledge about working with international codes and standards (API, ASME, ASTM, PED, ASME U STAMP), Knowledge of GA, Fabrication 2D, 3D Drawings.Note - We are in Fabrication ( Oil & gas ) background type of industry, so request you kindly send resumes on given skill and experience candidates only.DME /BE
• Knowing the codes of ASME Section VIII Div-1 and Div-2 designs and related ASME standards very well
• At least 3-5 years of experience in the calculations and design of complex and large pressure vessels in these codes
• Will be able to examine in detail the design and manufacturing specifications of client companies, except codes and standards, and reflect them on the design
• Will be able to perform earthquake and wind analysis of high process columns, examine, understand and apply different country and project standards Preparation of 2D/3D drawings according to Oil & Gas standards.
• Maintain state-of-the-art knowledge in sizing of various vessels tanks equipment's as required, which shall be in conformance with client and or company specifications, governing codes, good engineering practices, good safety practices, project procedures, and job requirements.
• Engineer with strong Engineering Instinct, able to generate quick solutions / predictions when needed
• Knowledge on welding, non-destructive testing, steel and nickel alloys, corrosion are preferred
• FEA ( finite element) experience is must- who having whole valve exp. with FEA software Interested candidates
• Can easily use finite element (FEA) software in calculations such as nozzle, earthquake and lifting, and interpret the results

• Preparing bill of material.Testing of machines. Preparation of operating & instruction manual.maintaining deptt record as per ISO 9000 & 14000.
• Preparation of technical documents
• Working knowledge of Auto-CAD & related 2D/3D.
• Working knowledge of MS Windows
• Solidwords Ansys and any other such relevant softwares knowledge is a plus
• Compile, verify accuracy and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry
• Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output
• Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents
• Help in new projects and ventures
• On site visits and work
• Coordination with various departments
• Apply data program techniques and procedures
• Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations and perform backup operations
• Scan documents and print files

Requirements

• Autocad 2 D experience
• Autocad 2D knowledge
• Solid words

• Technical field degree preferably Mechanical
• Experience with MS Office and data programs
• Familiarity with administrative duties
• Experience using office equipment, like fax machine and scanner
