Assistant Manager Business Development

Key Responsibilities:

1)Team Leadership and Target Achievement:

• Recruit, build, and lead a sales/business development team to achieve and exceed assigned targets.
• Motivate and manage a team of 10+ associates, fostering a high-performance culture.

2)Sales Process Optimization:

• Design and continuously optimize the sales funnel to improve conversion rates at every stage.
• Implement analytics-driven sales dashboards to monitor performance, track metrics, and forecast future pipelines.

3)Performance Management:

• Conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly pipeline reviews, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing workshops to ensure continuous improvement.

4)Business Development:

• Develop a strong pipeline of potential clients through direct outreach and prospecting.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to meet revenue goals.

5)Market Insights and Strategy:

• Gather and analyze feedback on customer experiences, market demands, and competitor activity.
• Share actionable insights with the marketing team to refine strategies and offerings.

What Youll Need

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of post-MBA experience in a sales management role (Ed-tech experience preferred) OR 5+ years of relevant experience.

Skills:

• Strong sales acumen with a proven track record of achieving aggressive targets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving, stakeholder management, and decision-making abilities.
• Outstanding people management skills with experience leading teams of 10+ associates.
