Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive leader to establish new business verticals. The assignment will be to lead the charge for researching, identifying, designing Go to Market strategies, and establishing the new verticals in its initial phase.
The candidate will have a strong expertise in identifying and establishing new business verticals / categories in the Industrial Products space in India.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research
Identifying high potential categories
Brainstorming with internal stakeholders and identifying relevant sector
Deep dive into identified sectors - making plans around go to market strategy, investment and returns
Support in establishing initial business and team.
Market Research Analysis:
Conduct thorough market analysis to identify new industry sectors, geographies, and verticals that present growth opportunities in the B2B Industrial Products sector.
Identify and analyze market opportunities, customer needs, gaps in customer demand and supply, market trends, market potential, investments and returns within the B2B Industrial Products space.
Utilize data-driven insights to forecast trends, assess market demand, and develop strategies for market entry and growth.
Strategy Development:
Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to enter in new categories and markets in the B2B Industrial products space.
Create targeted strategies for different market categories and sectors.
Identifying Partners, Geographies
Developing a Go To Market Strategy
Desirable Skills:
Knowledge of the solar energy industry, electrical systems, and mechanical product solutions.
Experience in international business development or expansion into new markets.
Strong network within the renewable energy, construction, and manufacturing industries.
Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to travel as required for client meetings and market research.
