Management Reporting-International Finance

Purpose of the role

Primary purpose is in managing the information systems and reporting function for the respective stakeholders. You will be responsible for ensuring the availability of

accurate and timely data, optimizing reporting processes, and enabling data-driven decision-making to support the achievement of business objectives

Key Role & Responsibilities

- Support the development and execution of strategies to elevate information systems and reporting functionalities under the guidance of the Manager / Head

- Assist in supervising the planning, creation, and upkeep of databases, data warehouses, and reporting systems to bolster operational insights

- Contribute to the deployment and utilization of data visualization tools and dashboards

- Assist in ensuring the integrity, precision, and uniformity of data across all sources

- Partner with SSC cross-functional teams to gather and formalize data for management reporting

- Support data extraction, transformation, and loading procedures for streamlined data movement and system integration

- Work closely with the plant accounting manager to address and resolve any data-related queries from the MIS team vis a vis plant team.

- Ensure that the MIS reports are prepared according to the scheduled timeline.

- Ensure that the plant accounting manager provides timely analysis and feedback on the plant-related MIS for distribution to the larger group.

- Provide assistance in offering counsel on data governance and security to safeguard sensitive information and adhere to data privacy laws

- Aid in providing support to organizational units with spontaneous data analysis and recommendations for enhanced decision-making

- Participate in the training and growth initiatives of team members to enhance their technical proficiencies

- Collaborate with IT units to identify opportunities for enhancements in data management and reporting infrastructure

Job specifications

Experience-

-4 to 9 years of relevant experience

- Experience in managing information systems and reporting functions, preferably within finance and business in the FMCG manufacturing industry

- Experience with data governance and data security practices

Qualification-

Competence-

Behavioural - Sound communication and presentation skills to effectively convey data and information to relevant stakeholders

- Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making

- Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and integrity

Functional- Proficiency in data management and database technologies (e.g., SQL, data warehousing, etc) is desirable

- Sound knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, etc.)

- Familiarity with data integration and ETL processes

Technical- Thorough understanding of business data requirements and reporting needs

- Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations (e.g., GDPR, etc.)

- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP
