SAP Financial Accounting (FI) Responsibilities :
- General Ledger : Manage and configure General Ledger accounting processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting and reconciliation.
- Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable : Configure and support AP and AR processes, ensuring smooth invoicing, payment processing, and reporting.
- Bank Accounting : Handle bank accounting processes, including bank statements, cash management, and bank reconciliation.
- Asset Accounting : Configure and manage Asset Accounting (AA), including asset acquisition, depreciation, transfers, and retirements.
- Tax : Configure tax calculations, reporting, and integration with other systems/modules for tax compliance and regulatory reporting.
- Integration with Other Modules : Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure proper integration between FI and other SAP modules, such as MM, SD, and PP.
SAP Controlling (CO) Responsibilities :
- Cost Elements & Cost Center Accounting : Implement and configure Cost Elements and Cost Center Accounting to support internal cost tracking, budgeting, and reporting.
- Internal Orders : Design and configure Internal Orders for tracking costs related to specific activities or projects.
- Profit Center Accounting : Manage Profit Center Accounting (PCA) to allocate and monitor costs and revenues across various segments of the business.
- Product Costing & Material Ledger : Work on Product Costing solutions and integrate with Material Ledger for tracking costs in a manufacturing or production environment.
- CO-PA (Profitability Analysis) : Implement and optimize CO-PA for detailed profitability reporting and analysis.
Project & Process Support :
- Prepare Functional Specifications & Test Scripts : Define Functional Specifications for custom solutions, including Test Scripts for development and testing.
- Scheduled Activities : Plan and execute month-end, quarter-end, and fiscal year-end activities, ensuring timely and accurate close processes.
- Project Methodologies : Lead or support projects using SAP Activate or Agile methodologies, ensuring alignment with best practices and timelines.
- Implementation, Upgrade, & Migration Projects : Drive full-cycle implementation of SAP solutions, from requirements gathering to post-go-live support. Contribute to upgrade and migration projects, especially in transitioning to S/4HANA.
S/4HANA & Migration :
- S/4HANA Knowledge : Leverage S/4HANA capabilities, including new functionalities and innovations, to improve business processes in FI/CO.
- Upgrade & Migration : Lead or support SAP S/4HANA migration projects, ensuring a seamless transition from legacy systems to the new environment, with minimal disruption to business operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- SAP FI/CO Expertise : Extensive experience in SAP FI (Financial Accounting) and SAP CO (Controlling) modules, with a strong focus on General Ledger, AP/AR, Asset Accounting, Tax, Costing, Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders.
- SAP S/4HANA Knowledge : In-depth understanding of S/4HANA and its integration with other SAP modules. Experience working with S/4HANA migrations and upgrades.
- Product Costing & CO-PA : Hands-on experience with Product Costing, Material Ledger, and CO-PA (Profitability Analysis) configuration and reporting.
- Project Experience : At least one full implementation project experience, with a strong background in support, upgrade, or migration projects.
- SAP Activate / Agile : Experience working with SAP Activate methodology or Agile project management approaches.
- Functional Specifications & Test Scripts : Proficient in preparing Functional Specifications, including Test Scripts for custom developments or enhancements.
- Scheduled Activities : Experience managing scheduled activities, such as month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes.
- Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical and functional issues clearly to stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to learn quickly, think differently, and provide innovative solutions with limited details.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience in Multi-country Taxation : Experience handling tax configurations and reporting in multi-country environments.
- Knowledge of HANA-based technologies : Familiarity with SAP HANA database and optimizations related to FI/CO processes.
- Experience in S/4HANA Extensibility : Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Extensibility options, both in-app and side-by-side.
- Hands-on SAP Integration : Experience with SAP Integration technologies (e.g., IDOCs, ALE, REST/SOAP APIs).
- End-to-End Project Knowledge : Experience in both ECC and S/4HANA landscapes, particularly in the conversion or migration process from ECC to S/4HANA.
