Job Summary :

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Automation Test Engineer with 1-2 years of experience in Automation Testing, Selenium, Java, and SQL/PLSQL to join our dynamic QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for web applications and performing manual tests when necessary to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

Automation Testing :

- Design, develop, and execute automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver in Java.

- Develop and maintain reusable automation frameworks.

- Integrate automation scripts with Continuous Integration (CI) tools like Jenkins.

- Ensure automation scripts are optimized for performance, reliability, and scalability.

- Perform regression, functional, and smoke testing using automated test suites.

Test Planning and Documentation :

- Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and QA team members to create detailed test plans.

- Write, review, and update test cases and test scenarios.

- Document and track defects using defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).

- Create and maintain detailed reports on test results, automation status, and defects.

SQL/PLSQL :

- Write and execute SQL queries to verify data integrity and consistency in the database.

- Use SQL/PLSQL scripts for database validation in automated tests.

- Perform data validation and integrity checks to ensure that the application behaves as expected across various test environments.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with the development team to ensure timely identification and resolution of defects.

- Actively participate in team discussions regarding new features and potential test cases.

- Continuously improve testing processes and automation coverage.

Skills and Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- Selenium WebDriver (2.x or 3.x) and related tools.

- Strong knowledge of Java (including OOP principles).

- Good understanding of SQL/PLSQL for database validation.

- Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools for automation integration.

- Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).

Testing Knowledge :

- Understanding of Automation Testing methodologies and tools.

- Knowledge of software testing life cycle (STLC), test case design, and execution.

- Hands-on experience with regression testing, functional testing, and performance testing.

- Experience with manual testing of web-based applications.
