About the Role:
We're seeking an experienced and skilled Upholstery Furniture Development manager to lead our team in designing, developing, and launching new upholstery furniture products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in furniture design, development, and manufacturing, as well as excellent leadership and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the upholstery furniture development team: Manage a team of designers, engineers, and technicians to develop new upholstery furniture products.
2. Develop and implement product development strategies: Create and execute plans to develop new products, improve existing products, and enhance manufacturing processes.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with sales, marketing, and manufacturing teams to ensure that new products meet customer needs, are manufacturable, and align with business objectives.
4. Design and develop new products: Create concept designs, prototypes, and production-ready designs for new upholstery furniture products.
5. Conduct market research and trend analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform product development decisions.
6. Develop and manage budgets: Create and manage budgets for product development projects, ensuring that costs are controlled and projects are delivered on time.
7. Ensure quality and safety standards: Ensure that all new products meet or exceed quality and safety standards, regulatory requirements, and industry certifications.

Requirements:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in furniture design, development, and manufacturing, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
3. Skills:
    1. Strong leadership and project management skills.
    2. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
    3. Proficient in CAD design software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
    4. Strong understanding of furniture design, development, and manufacturing processes.
    5. Knowledge of quality and safety standards, regulatory requirements, and industry certifications.
4. Certifications: Certified in furniture design, development, or a related field, such as Certified Furniture Designer (CFD) or Certified Industrial Designer (CID).
