Java Developer - J2EE/Spring Boot (5-7 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design and develop Java applications using Core Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot.

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and Microservices.

- Implement and integrate Apache Kafka into applications for message streaming and event-driven architectures.

- Utilize Spring Cloud, Spring Data, and Hibernate frameworks effectively.

- Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra.

- Leverage Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.

- Contribute to the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.

- Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Implement and maintain robust logging and monitoring solutions using tools like ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana.

- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to testing and deployment.

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers.

- Troubleshoot and debug issues effectively.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5+ years of experience in Java development with strong knowledge of Core Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot.

- Hands-on experience in Microservices Architecture and RESTful API development.

- Expertise in Apache Kafka (message streaming, event-driven architecture, consumer/producer patterns).

- Strong experience with Spring Cloud, Spring Data, and Hibernate.

- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra).

- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.

- Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an Agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with GraphQL and gRPC APIs.

- Knowledge of security best practices for microservices and API gateways.

- Exposure to distributed systems and caching mechanisms (Redis, Memcached)
