Head - Digital Media Buying & Strategies


Key Responsibilities:.

Digital Media Buying & Media Planning:

- Oversee the end-to-end digital media buying process, including negotiating with digital media vendors, securing ad placements, and managing contracts.

- Ensure effective and efficient allocation of digital media budgets across platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, programmatic, and more.

- Develop and implement strategic media plans tailored to each client's objectives and target audience.

- Conduct thorough market research and audience analysis to inform media strategies and identify opportunities.

- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive activities to guide media planning.

Strategic Leadership:

- Develop and execute digital media buying strategies tailored to client objectives andtarget audiences.

- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to deliver cutting-edge solutions and maintain a competitive edge.

Client Management:

- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored media solutions.

- Present media strategies, plans, and performance reports to clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment with their business goals.

Team Management:

- Lead, mentor, and manage the digital media buying team, ensuring high performance and professional growth.

- Set clear goals and KPIs for the team, providing regular feedback and development opportunities.

Campaign Planning and Execution:

- Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of digital media campaigns across various platforms, including Google Ads, social media, programmatic, and more.

- Ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within budget while meeting or exceeding performance targets.

Budget and Performance Management:

- Manage and allocate digital media budgets effectively, ensuring optimal spend and ROI for clients.

- Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and make data-driven adjustments to improve results.

Vendor and Platform Relations:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with digital media vendors, platforms, and technology providers.

- Negotiate contracts, rates, and placements to achieve the best possible value for clients.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

- Utilize analytics tools to track, measure, and report on campaign performance.

- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to optimize future campaigns.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with other departments, including creative, strategy, and analytics teams, to ensure integrated and effective campaign execution.

- Collaborate with internal teams to align media strategies with overall marketing objectives.

Innovation and Best Practices:

- Continuously explore and implement new digital media techniques and technologies.

- Maintain a high level of expertise in digital media trends, best practices, and tools.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.

- Advanced degree or MBA preferred.

- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in digital media buying, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Skills:

- Extensive experience in planning and executing digital media campaigns across various platforms (Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, programmatic advertising).

- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google tag manager, Tableau).

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in digital media buying platforms and software.

- Proven ability to manage and optimize budgets effectively.

- Leadership experience with a focus on team development and performance management.
