Job Description

RESPONSIBILITY :

Develop and implement actions as per strategic plans & sales objectives.
Provide sales forecasting for assigned customer base and set performance goals accordingly.
Build up customer base by expanding to new business area.
Build up and maintain good customer relations for top customer satisfaction
Market and sell products and services according to agreed plans in cooperation with Indian/Global management.
Report business development and activities to Indian/Global management as instructed.
Maintain close relationship with customers to determine their needs.
Cooperation & development of sales channel partners.
Monitors / Analyses competition activities and devises effective strategy to be ahead of them.

BASIC REQUIREMENT :

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Essential

Bachelor s degree in Engineering (Mechanical /control & instrumentation, preferred) and minimum 3 - 7 years sales experience of various equipments in Automation Industry.
Must be experienced in selling related to Automation and allied product
Market and Customer experience & exposure to OEM, EPC contractors and End user is a must.
Proficient use of spreadsheets, PowerPoint, word processing and have a good understanding of the use of data bases.
Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time

SKILLS AND ABILITIES Essential

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

Company polices were good and appraisals are also fine.

Dislikes

There was Too much of internal politics. The employees who have voice in management and staying there for a long time were torturing the new joiners. There was lot of inequality.
