Job Description
- Diploma / bachelor s degree in mechanical engineering.
- 5-8 years of experience in Pulp & machine engineering.
- Experience in engineering of rotating machinery and welded designs is a prerequisite for this position.
- Provide necessary support to sales team on estimation, preliminary drawing preparation and queries during sales phase.
- Basic knowledge in flow theory, process, material technology & welding technology is also considered meritorious as our products are often related to improving performance in the pulp industry and that we work with pressure vessel directives.
- Working knowledge in engineering tools such as AutoCAD, Solid Works is a prerequisite for this position.
- Understand/study the documentation inputs clearly and raise any discrepancies/ variations before beginning the design work.
- Follow up and expedite the work process from the start to end and liaise with all the departments for timely completion and smooth workflow.
- Review all the in-house drawings and sub-contractor documentation and make sure the right/ accurate/ latest drawings go to fabrication.
- we have close cooperation with colleagues and customers in different places in the world, it is important that you have good knowledge of English
- Willingness to travel to client sites >25% of time is required for this position.
