Valiance Solutions - Information Technology Business Analyst (5-8 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented IT Business Analyst to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering and analyzing requirements for AI applications aimed at process automation, among other responsibilities.

You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and the technical team, ensuring seamless delivery of cutting-edge AI solutions that drive efficiency and innovation.

Key Responsibilities :

Requirement Gathering :

- Engage with business stakeholders to understand and document requirements for AI-based process automation applications.

- Conduct workshops, interviews, and surveys to elicit clear and actionable insights.

- Translate business needs into functional & technical requirements for the development team.

Process Analysis & Documentation :

- Map current processes and identify areas for improvement and automation opportunities.

- Create detailed process flow diagrams, user stories, wireframes and use cases for AI solutions.

Stakeholder Communication :

- Act as a liaison between business users, project teams, and IT departments to ensure alignment.

- Conduct regular meetings to update stakeholders on project progress and gather feedback.

Solution Design Support :

- Collaborate with data scientists, AI engineers, and solution architects to design scalable AI solutions.

- Ensure business requirements are accurately reflected in technical designs.

Testing & Validation :

- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) for AI applications.

- Validate solutions against business requirements and provide feedback to the technical team.

Change Management :

- Support change management efforts to ensure smooth implementation and adoption of AI solutions.

- Develop training material and provide training sessions for end-users as needed.

Project Management :

- Assist in project planning, tracking, and reporting.

- Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.

Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or similar role, preferably with exposure to AI/ML applications.

- Strong understanding of AI technologies, process automation, and business intelligence tools.

- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

- Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Office Suite, and process mapping tools like Visio or Lucidchart.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g, Google Cloud, AWS, Azure) is a plus.
