Job Description
Experience: 4+
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Workday Financials Consultant with 4-5 years of expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Workday Financials, coupled with the ability to deliver solutions that align with client needs. You will play a pivotal role in implementing, configuring, and optimizing Workday Financials modules while providing ongoing support to ensure client success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementation and Configuration:
- Lead and support the design, configuration, and deployment of Workday Financials modules such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Expense Management.
- Work closely with clients to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions.
- System Optimization:
- Identify opportunities to optimize financial processes using Workday tools.
- Customize and enhance Workday functionalities to improve financial reporting and operational efficiency.
- Testing and Validation:
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure system configurations meet client specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during testing and post-implementation phases.
- Client Collaboration:
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring effective communication and understanding of their financial system requirements.
- Provide training and guidance to clients on Workday Financials best practices.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, workflows, and business processes.
- Generate reports and dashboards to support decision-making processes.
- Support and Maintenance:
- Deliver post-implementation support, resolving queries and ensuring smooth system operation.
- Stay updated with Workday releases and recommend upgrades or enhancements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of hands-on experience with Workday Financials implementation and support.
- Proficiency in core Workday Financials modules such as GL, AP, AR, and Fixed Assets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
- Experience with Workday integrations and reporting tools (e.g., Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer) is a plus.
