Solution Architect

Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned RPA (Robotic Process Automation) Solution Architect with team management experience to lead the design, development, and implementation of automated solutions across our organization. The ideal candidate will not only be technically proficient in RPA platforms (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism) but will also have a proven track record of managing and mentoring RPA development teams. The RPA Solution Architect will oversee the automation strategy, drive continuous improvement in automation practices, and manage a team of RPA developers, ensuring that all automation initiatives are aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Design & Architecture: Lead the design and architecture of RPA solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with business needs. Oversee the development of complex automation workflows and integration with other enterprise systems.
• Team Management & Leadership: Manage, mentor, and lead an RPA development team. Ensure the team is motivated, properly resourced, and working towards meeting project goals. Foster a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
• Process Discovery & Analysis: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand current manual processes and identify opportunities for automation. Lead process discovery workshops, document process flows, and define automation requirements.
• Automation Strategy & Governance: Develop and implement an enterprise-wide RPA strategy. Define best practices, set up governance structures, and establish standards for RPA design, deployment, and monitoring.
• Project Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of RPA projects, from requirement gathering and design through development, testing, and deployment. Manage timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution.
• Quality Assurance & Optimization: Establish quality assurance processes and ensure that RPA bots are optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability. Monitor deployed bots and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for senior business and IT stakeholders. Present progress reports, issue resolution strategies, and recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with IT, business process owners, and other departments to ensure smooth integration and deployment of automation solutions.
• Training & Development: Lead training and knowledge-sharing sessions to upskill the team. Stay current with the latest trends and tools in RPA, ensuring the team remains at the forefront of automation technology.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in RPA solution architecture and development, with at least 2 years of team management experience.
• RPA Tools: Extensive experience with RPA platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or similar.
• Technical Expertise: Proficient in programming languages like VB.NET, C#, Python, or JavaScript. Strong understanding of database technologies, API integrations, and enterprise systems.
• Team Management: Proven leadership experience in managing and mentoring a team of RPA developers. Ability to build and nurture high-performance teams.
• Project Management: Experience in managing RPA projects from conception to deployment, ensuring they are completed on time and meet business objectives.
• Solution Design: Strong ability to design complex, scalable, and secure automation solutions.
• Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage expectations and engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in RPA tools (e.g., UiPath Advanced RPA Developer, Blue Prism Certification, Automation Anywhere Certified RPA Professional) are highly preferred.
