We are hiring an "Assistant General Manager -Supply Chain Management" for our International Business division at Vadilal Industries Ltd - Ahmedabad-Corporate office.

Job Title: Assistant General Manager- Supply Chain Management

Reporting To: President - International Business

Job Summary:

The Assistant General Manager Supply Chain Management is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire supply chain function, including production planning, demand forecasting, inventory management etc. The role ensures seamless coordination between various departments to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and meet business objectives. The AGM-SCM will play a key role in demand and supply planning, ensuring that production schedules align with customer demand while maintaining optimal inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinating Production workflow with Plant/ Marketing team.
• Should have knowledge of material requirements, production, and lead time management.
• Exceptional production planner and should demonstrate excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• To create, modify, and manage production schedules for completing marketing orders on time.
• To monitor inventory levels, regularly provide production status updates to management, and facilitate the timely delivery of products to customers.
• Coordination with the quality team for finish goods inspections, approvals, etc.
• To closely monitor the production process to ensure that production orders are completed on time and within budget.
• Evaluating purchase orders to create suitable production schedules.
• Planning for material preparation required for production.
• Coordinating production operations in accordance with material availability.
• Promptly informing the relevant departments or stakeholders of changes to current production schedules.
• Timely releasing of Purchase orders in accordance with production planning and timely completion of orders.
• Preparing GRNs on priority for dispatching the order in time.
• Constant follows up for the payment.

• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Logistics, or a related field.
• Postgraduate degree (MBA/PGDM) in Supply Chain Management is preferred.

• Experience:
• Minimum 20 years of experience in operations or supply chain management, preferably in the FMCG food industry.
• Proven track record in production planning, demand forecasting, and inventory management.
