US HR specialist

Job Title: Human Resources Specialist

Job Summary: The HR Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of a company's human resources operations, from recruitment and employee relations to training and compensation. They play a key role in ensuring that an organizations workforce is aligned with its strategic goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Administer various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel.
• Ensure all resources are being utilized well and being efficient.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines to support the HR department.
• Conduct recruitment efforts for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, students, and temporary employees.
• Perform benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, and communicating benefit information to employees.
• Conduct new employee orientations and exit interviews to ensure a positive work experience.
• Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
• Develop, recommend, and implement personnel policies and procedures.
• Prepare and maintain employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
• Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience as an HR Specialist or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of labor legislation and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle data with confidentiality.
• Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
