Job Title: Area Sales Manager (ASM)
Objective:
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for driving sales growth and profitability within the assigned area by effectively managing the sales team, optimizing customer relationships, and executing regional strategies. The ASM will play a pivotal role in increasing market share, building brand loyalty, and ensuring the delivery of sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Target Achievement:
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve regional sales targets.
• Ensure the team meets or exceeds monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Team Management & Development:
• Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and mentoring.
• Ensure the team is motivated, well-equipped, and aligned with company goals.
• Market Analysis & Strategy:
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
• Provide actionable insights and develop regional sales strategies.
• Collaborate with marketing to tailor campaigns for the region.
• Customer Relationship Management:
• Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key clients.
• Handle escalations and customer feedback to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
• Reporting & Analytics:
• Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management.
• Track KPIs and sales metrics to assess the performance of the team.
• Use data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Budget & Expense Management:
• Oversee the sales budget for the region and ensure cost-effective operations.
• Control and optimize expenses to maximize ROI.
• Compliance & Company Policies:
• Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, laws, and regulations.
• Promote the company s culture and values within the team.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Sales Revenue Growth:
• Increase in sales revenue year-over-year for the assigned region.
• Sales Target Achievement Rate:
• Percentage of sales target achieved (monthly/quarterly/annually).
• Market Share Expansion:
• Growth in market share within the assigned geographical area.
• Customer Satisfaction & Retention:
• Customer feedback scores, renewal rates, and retention metrics.
• Team Performance:
• Sales team targets, productivity rates, and training completion.
• New Client Acquisition:
• Number of new customers acquired in the region.
• Expense Management:
• Adherence to budget and cost-control measures.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field. (Master's preferred)
• Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record in sales management and achieving targets.
• Skills:
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
