Automation Test Analyst - Playwright Testing (5-10 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using the Playwright framework.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.

- Execute automated tests, analyze results, and generate reports.

- Identify, report, and track defects using a defect tracking system (e.g., Jira).

- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure software quality.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our test automation framework and processes.

- Highly Preferred : Develop and execute automated tests specifically for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) implementations, including UI testing, component testing, and integration testing.

- Plus : Utilize AppliTools Eyes for visual testing and regression analysis, ensuring consistent UI across different browsers and devices.

Required Skills :

- Extensive experience with the Playwright automation framework. Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing robust test automation solutions using Playwright.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python. Strong coding skills and the ability to write maintainable and scalable test scripts.

- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

- Experience with test case design, execution, and reporting.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot issues.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective teamwork and knowledge sharing.

Preferred Skills :

- Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) (Highly Preferred).

- Experience testing AEM components, templates, and workflows.

- Knowledge of AppliTools Eyes (Plus).

- Experience with visual testing techniques and tools.

- Experience with other testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Jest, Mocha).

- Experience in Agile development environments.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration with testing frameworks.

- Experience with API testing (e.g., REST Assured, Postman)
