Automation Test Lead - Playwright Testing (5-8 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly motivated Automation Test Lead to join our dynamic Quality Assurance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for career growth and development in the field of software testing.

Responsibilities :

• Design, implementation, and roll-out of Playwright as a test automation framework
• Actively write automation test scripts using Playwright
• Own automation testing across all our development teams (pods)
• Own the integration of automated testing with our CI/CD Pipeline and Reporting Dashboards (JIRA)
• Work closely with the Product teams to identify new automation opportunities
• Work closely with backend and frontend engineers to communicate the data and UI changes needed for automation
• Support QA Engineers to accelerate test automation by training them, conducting code reviews, and solving technical issues

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of overall software development/ quality assurance experience the majority in QA Automation with a minimum of 2 years experience in handing a team
• Advanced or expert-level knowledge with Playwright, an end-to-end testing automation framework, OR advanced experience with a Javascript-based automation solution
• Strong programming experience, preferably in JavaScript
• Experience testing modern web applications built with React
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience testing using Chrome dev tools
• Comfortable with project management tools like JIRA
