Lead - Warehouse

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for handling of end-to-end Raw Material stores function (Receive, unload, safe storage, and distribution of materials).
• Works with purchasing department to schedule delivery of materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Verify if all goods have arrived as per the agreed purchase orders, delivery note and Invoices.
• Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping.
• Inventory control including defining inventory norms and FSN Analysis.
• Manage and direct the daily activities of workers, loaders, and forklift drivers.
• Monitor and take inventory count on regular basis.
• Maintain good housekeeping in area & adhere to always established Company Safety policies.
• Ensure timely disposal of Vendor Rejections and Scraps.
• Responsible for adherence & execution of Standardized Operating Procedures
• Supervise, evaluate, and coach subordinates.
• Ensure system data is kept in sync with physical activity across multiple inventory categories.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Preferred candidate profile

• 10+ years experience in a Lead/Managerial role. Preferably from Electrical/ Electronic Goods Manufacturing sector.
•  Should have working knowledge of SAP-MM. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
•  Excellent understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RM stores operations..
•  Excellent analytical, problem solving, self-management, and organizational skills
• Ability to lead and motivate a team as well as working as part of that team and adopting a “hands on” approach wherever needed. Proactive, conscientious, and self-motivated.
