Utkarsh Small Finance Bank Limited Probationary Officer Program is a dedicated initiative aimed at nurturing young talents aspiring to build a rewarding career in the Banking sector. In partnership with the Institute of Professional Banking, our mission is to shape aspiring individuals into dynamic bankers, fostering a sense of pride in being a part of the Utkarsh family while maintaining a stable and thriving profession as Probationary Officers. Through Utkarsh Probationary Officer Program, Utkarsh Small Finance Bank Limited offers meticulously designed modules covering Retail Branch Banking, encompassing knowledge and skills in Branch Operations, Banking Products, Sales, Credit, Customer Service, and various day-to-day banking tasks.

Successful program graduates will be conferred with a Post Graduate Diploma, coupled with the prospect of full-time employment within the Bank.

Design of the Program

The program's design encompasses the following phases:

• Applicants aged 21-27 at the time of admission with a minimum 65% in graduation
• Shortlisted candidates invited for in-person interviews by Utkarsh Small Finance Bank Officials
• A 1-year Post Graduate Diploma in Banking & Financial Services from Mangalayatan University, Aligarh
• 4 Months of classroom training at Baddi University
• 2 Months of internship at Utkarsh Small Finance Bank Limited Branch
• 6 Months of on-the-job training, including weekend online classes, aligning with exposure in sales and operations

Selection process

A written test followed by group discussion and personal interview shall be conducted and the shortlisted candidates shall be invited for the documents verification. Post the completion of the documentation the successful candidates shall join the classroom training at Baddi which would be subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria, documents verification and positive reference check.
