Manufacturing Support Engineer with Inventor

Description:

1. Responsible to document Engineering changes thru ECR / ECN or ECO processes.
2. Works on Creo CAD tools to make design, document & BOM changes.
3. Responsible to release, revise parts, assemblies & OEMs using PLM (Teamcenter) & ERP (SAP) applications.
4. Reads & Interprets engineering drawings and rectifies design issues to prevent or resolve manufacturing concerns.
5. Applies manufacturing knowledge in resolving supplier & manufacturing concerns on mechanical design & assemblies.
6. Responsible to work with Design & Manufacturing engineers and execute design release and update activities.
7. Applies problem solving & critical thinking while working on design & manufacturing issues.
1. Develop BKMs and train the team on lessons learnt
2. Co-ordinate with cross functional teams to resolve the roadblocks to enable faster implementation of Engineering changes.
• Knowledge & experience on product assembly of mechanical & (or) Electrical components.
• Basic knowledge on metal & non-metal materials, manufacturing processes.
• CAD knowledge & experience with Creo & Equivalent CAD tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse set of stake holders
• Ability to understand complex machine configurations and the impact of configuration changes.
