Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Piping & Structural Designer with Autodesk Inventor experience to join our team in Hyderabad. The selected candidate will work on designing piping systems for industrial projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards, and client requirements. This is initially a 1-year contract role, with an opportunity for a permanent position based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and design 3D piping layouts, isometrics, and detailed fabrication drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
• Interpret P&IDs, equipment layouts, and technical specifications to create accurate piping designs.
• Ensure compliance with relevant piping codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API).
• Collaborate with engineers and other disciplines to integrate piping designs with structural and mechanical components.
• Conduct clash detection and interference checks using tools like Navisworks.
• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and assist in procurement planning.
• Make necessary modifications based on client feedback and site conditions.
• Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, and commissioning.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience using Autodesk Inventor.
• Strong knowledge of piping components, materials, and fabrication techniques.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other 3D design tools is a plus.
• Understanding of ASME B31.3, API 570, and ISO standards.
• Experience in industrial sectors such as oil & gas, petrochemicals, power, or heavy engineering.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Educational Qualification:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
