Job Title: Process P&ID Designer (Aveva P&ID) Contract (5 Months)

Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu

Contract Duration: 5 Months

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Process P&ID Designer proficient in Aveva P&ID for a 5-month contract position. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Piping & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) development for process industries, with hands-on experience in leading design tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and modify P&ID drawings using Aveva P&ID.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and project specifications.

Collaborate with process engineers and other discipline teams to ensure design accuracy.

Integrate P&ID data with other engineering disciplines and ensure consistency.

Review and validate engineering documents and drawings.

Perform quality checks and ensure timely delivery of drawings.

Required Skills & Tools:

Primary Tool: Aveva P&ID

Other Preferred Tools:

AutoCAD P&ID

SmartPlant P&ID (SPPID)

Autodesk Plant 3D

Bentley OpenPlant P&ID

Strong understanding of process flow diagrams (PFDs) and P&ID symbols, standards, and nomenclature.

Knowledge of piping, instrumentation, and process control systems.

Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical, or related industries is preferred.

Qualifications:

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering discipline.

4 to 9 years of experience in P&ID design and drafting.
