Job Title: Epic Reporting Workbench Specialist
Location: India

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Epic Reporting Workbench Specialist to join our team. This role involves Leading and executing the migration of databases from EPIC Databases to Azure Nebula, SQL Server. Ensuring a smooth transition while leveraging Azure cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with EPIC DB and EPIC Workbench , Azure cloud services, and a solid understanding of both Oracle and SQL Server environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configuring and testing Epic-released and Foundation System content for all applications, including:
- Reporting Workbench
- slicer Dicer
- Radar
- Cogito SQL
- Creating content to display Epic data from Chronicles, Clarity, and Caboodle
- Writing SQL and configuring Radar settings for custom SQL metrics
- Modifying existing reports, as necessary
- Distributing analytics content to data consumers
- Reviewing peer reports for validity
- Working with subject matter experts to understand the needs of data consumers
- Maintaining the Analytics Catalog and associated metadata records
- Testing analytics build in a specified testing environment and volume testing in live environments
- Reviewing upgrade documentation related to Cogito features and determining how to implement the changes
- Resource might also be responsible for building and maintaining:
- Cubes
- Extracts
- Slicer Dicer custom filters
- Third-party BI tools
- Epic data in Caboodle
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in EPIC Reporting and EPIC database with a focus on Azure SQL Server.
EPIC Reporting Bench Expertise: Design, Develop and maintain Reports/Dashboards by using EPIC reporting tools such as Reporting Workbench and Radar Dashboard. And be able to Perform ad-hoc data analysis using SQL, BI, Excel, and other tools as necessary
EPIC DB: Extract, consolidate and manipulate data from multiple large data sets, analyse the results, and build reports, dashboards, and presentations. And be able to Create/ Modify SQL queries using Epic s Clarity database
Azure Expertise : Proficiency with Azure cloud services, including Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, and Azure Data Factory.
Migration Tools : Experience with migration tools such as Azure Data Migration Service (DMS), SQL Server Migration Assistant (SSMA), and other ETL tools.
Oracle Experience: Good background in Oracle database architecture, PL/SQL, and Oracle SQL Developer.
Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience troubleshooting complex database migration issues.
Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Team Management: Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple aspects of database migration projects and leading small teams
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as EPIC, Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Azure is preferable
SQL Server Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Microsoft SQL Server architecture, performance tuning, and SQL scripting.
Cloud Experience: Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and other Azure services.
Additional Skills: Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python for automation and process optimization.
