Job Summary :

Experienced Senior Java Developer with 5-8 years of experience to join our technology team.

The role involves developing high-performance, scalable solutions for critical applications in our financial services environment.

You will be part of a talented global team of developers, building and enhancing our trading, risk management, and data analytics platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications for trading systems, risk management, and financial platforms.

- Work on complex algorithmic development, large-scale data processing, and optimization tasks.

- Collaborate with business analysts and global teams to gather technical requirements and ensure proper delivery.

- Lead code reviews, ensure best coding practices, and participate in architectural discussions.

- Contribute to end-to-end software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment.

- Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through continuous testing and tuning.

- Partner with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth CI/CD processes.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal impact to critical systems.

- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and financial industry trends to continuously improve our platforms.

Required Qualifications :

- Experience : 5-8 years of hands-on experience in Java development within a highly regulated or financial services environment.

- Languages & Frameworks : Expertise in Core Java, Java EE, Spring (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud), and Hibernate.

- Financial Domain : Experience with financial products, such as equities, derivatives, or fixed income platforms is a significant plus.

- Database Systems : Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.

- Web Technologies : Familiarity with RESTful services, microservices architecture, and SOAP.

- Version Control : Expertise with Git and working in collaborative development environments.

- Build Tools : Experience with Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Cloud Technologies : Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus.

- Messaging Systems : Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging technologies.

- Testing Frameworks : Experience with JUnit, TestNG, Mockito, and integration testing.

- Distributed Systems : Knowledge of distributed systems architecture and high-frequency/low-latency systems is highly desirable.
