Overview:
Walk IN Interview for AR Callers on 7th Sep, Saturday.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) Executive to join our healthcare organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the US healthcare billing and reimbursement process, with a focus on maximizing collections and reducing accounts receivable delinquency. This position requires excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Hospital AR: 160
Physician AR : 130
Responsibilities:
- Review and monitor outstanding accounts receivable balances.
- Follow up with insurance companies and patients regarding unpaid claims and outstanding balances.
- Investigate and resolve denials, underpayments, and billing issues.
- Process appeals and reconsiderations for denied or underpaid claims.
- Generate aging reports and analyze AR aging to identify delinquencies and trends.
- Communicate with patients to resolve billing inquiries and disputes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date billing records and documentation.
- Collaborate with billing and coding team to ensure accurate claim submissions.
- Provide regular updates and reports to management on AR status and performance metrics.
- Stay updated with changes in healthcare regulations and insurance guidelines affecting AR processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (12 Months) working in accounts receivable within the US healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of medical billing practices, including CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding.
- Knowledge of insurance claim submission and reimbursement processes (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance).
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and billing systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech, Hospice).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
