Job Description:

We are seeking a creative, results-driven Social Media Manager with strong SEO knowledge to develop and implement social media strategies that elevate the Urban Innovation brand. You will play a key role in enhancing our online visibility, engagement, and search engine ranking. Your ability to blend social media strategy with SEO best practices will be critical in driving traffic and building a strong online community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute social media strategies that align with business goals, driving engagement, brand awareness, and lead generation across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, etc.).

• Content Creation & Optimization: Craft engaging, informative, and visually appealing content (posts, blogs, videos, infographics) for social media, while integrating SEO best practices to ensure high visibility in search engine results.

• SEO Strategy Implementation: Collaborate with the SEO team to optimize social media content, improve organic search visibility, and enhance search rankings. Use SEO tools to track, analyze, and refine content performance.

• Community Engagement: Actively engage with followers, respond to comments, manage direct messages, and foster a positive brand presence in the online community.

• Social Media Advertising: Manage paid campaigns on social media platforms, ensuring proper targeting, budgeting, and optimization to achieve key performance metrics.

• Analytics & Reporting: Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, etc.) to monitor social media and SEO performance, generate regular reports, and adjust strategies based on data insights.

• Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and SEO practices, and continuously refine strategies to keep content relevant and impactful.

• Collaboration: Work closely with content, design, and SEO teams to ensure cohesive marketing efforts and high-quality, search-optimized content.

• Brand Consistency: Ensure all social media and SEO content aligns with Urban Innovation’s branding, voice, and messaging across all platforms.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of proven experience in social media management, with a solid understanding of SEO principles and tools.
• Hands-on experience with SEO tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube) and their algorithms.
• Solid knowledge of SEO practices, keyword research, and on-page optimization for social media content.
• Ability to create compelling, SEO-optimized content that resonates with the audience.
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills, with attention to detail.
• Experience with paid social media campaigns and managing budgets.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• A passion for urban innovation, sustainability, and technology is a plus.
