Urban Company started out as UrbanClap in Nov 2014, when its founders, Abhiraj, Raghav and Varun realized that the home services industry was predominantly unorganized, fragmented and offline. Customers found it difficult to avail quality services in a convenient manner, and service professionals were struggling to make ends meet, having to rely upon several middlemen, contractors, and local aggregators. Job Description:

As an HR Operations Specialist at Urban Company, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless HR processes and data integrity while driving operational excellence. This position is ideal for detail-oriented professionals with a strong foundation in HR operations and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee HR lifecycle processes for both full-time and contractual employees, ensuring adherence to defined SOPs and SLAs.
• Track, analyze, and report key HR metrics, including onboarding, offboarding, payroll, and background verification (BGV).
• Manage a segment of the payroll process for full-time and contractual employees.
• Provide robust reporting and analytical support to internal teams, ensuring data quality and actionable insights.
• Handle HR data requests from internal stakeholders, vendors, and auditors, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
• Perform general administrative tasks and contribute to ad-hoc projects as required.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in HR operations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to understand and optimize processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
