Job Description
- Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures (manual and automated) to ensure the quality of software products.
- Identify, document, and track bugs thoroughly using bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, product management, and support) to analyze and resolve issues throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in design and requirement reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, and potential issues.
- Implement and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to streamline testing and improve efficiency.
- Perform regression testing, load testing, performance testing, and security testing as needed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes and procedures.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-6 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python) for automation purposes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum development environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- ISTQB or similar QA certifications.
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of database systems and SQL.
