Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and manage the Global Formulations Supply Chain Operations. The role demands strategic planning and operational expertise in supply chain management for product launches, CMO operations, and regulatory compliance across global markets (LATAM, US, MOW). The candidate will partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Commercial, Quality, and Production, to ensure timely and efficient product delivery within budget and defined timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Launches & Collaboration:

- Partner with business teams (Commercial, Production, Quality) to support global GF product launches (in-house and CMOs).

- Ensure timely delivery of final outputs within defined budgets and timelines.

Strategy & Operations:

- Develop strategic and operational plans for CMO operations to enable successful product launches across LATAM, US, and MOW markets.

- Formulate strategies to run strategic initiatives like cost improvement programs while managing economic and political risks.

Supply Chain Management:

- Manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including:

- Finished goods planning and inventory management.

- Material planning and warehousing operations (dispensing RM/PM, GMP compliance).

CMO Management:

- Collaborate on capacity planning exercises and manage the outsourcing of production to CMOs.

- Oversee CMO operations post-commercialization, including payments, issue resolution, regulatory and quality support, and project-specific negotiations.

- Monitor technology transfer activities between CMOs and internal teams.

Contract & Compliance Oversight:

- Guide the team in extending contracts with CMOs based on predefined criteria and technical inputs.

- Review critical contracts and provide advisory inputs for key CMO deals and negotiations.

Audit & Warehousing:

- Oversee warehousing activities for RM/FG and CMOs, ensuring adherence to GMP.

- Conduct periodic reviews to maintain audit readiness (USFDA, MHRA, EMA).

- Guide the team in responding to audit observations.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field.

Experience: 15-20 years of experience in supply chain management, CMO operations, and global product launches, preferably in the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector.

Proven expertise in managing large-scale supply chain operations and cross-functional team collaboration.

Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (USFDA, MHRA, EMA).

Experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and managing economic and political risks.
