We are an internet product company building exciting games/game formats for multi-million users, who are highly engaged with the games that we publish. The games are delivered on Android, iOS & Web(ReactJs/phaser) platforms powered by a game engine and a seamless platform. We take pride in the smooth UI, ability to handle high concurrency with near-single-digit millisecond latencies. Ours is a hybrid platform with computers running on both on-prem and in the cloud.
We have a plethora of serverless functions and microservices built either on NodeJs or Java. We use web sockets & messaging services to power game interactions on a real-time basis. During peak hours we experience many multiples of load seen from off-peak hours and our application & infrastructure is tuned to handle the loads optimally. Our systems generate many gigabytes of data everyday which is fed to our analytics engine for generating actionable insights.
Our current game offerings are rummy, poker, carrom, pool & fantasy sports and we want to add games that would be highly engaging to gamers. Our goal is to offer the best experience possible, constantly raising the bar higher for performance, scalability, reusability, and security as we move.

Role: Software Engineer III/IV

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, test & deploy high performant code
• Troubleshoot, debug and enhance existing modules
• Verify and deploy code to live
• Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications
• Ability to provide elegant tech solutions to business problems
• Work with peer developers, QA, product managers, scrum masters in an Agile environment

Qualification:

• Strong computer science fundamentals
• Bachelors/Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Applications
• 3-9 years of relevant programming experience in Java
• Strong in Object-Oriented Programming
• Good Experience working with collections/data structures, multi-threading
• Hands-on Experience in Spring Boot, Microservices, Spring Security
• Experience in unit testing frameworks Junit, Jest etc
• Experience working with message queues, sockets is an added advantage
• Experience working in CI/CD development
• Experience in Git, Maven, containerization
• Experience in SQL/No-SQL databases, caching technologies
• Knowledge of code quality control platforms like Sonar, secure coding practices, OWASP vulnerabilities
• Working experience in cloud AWS is a big plus
• Good communication & interpersonal skills
