Instructional Design Manager

Position Overview: 

We are looking for a passionate and creative Instructional Design Manager to join our

dynamic team. As an instructional designer at upGrad Enterprise, you will play a key role in developing engaging and effective learning experiences tailored to client contexts and requirements. Were looking for experienced instructional designer with at least 2 years of experience in designing learning programs for adult learners in an enterprise setup. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct needs assessments and gathering input from clients and stakeholders to

inform learning program design. 

• Lead the creation of customized learning designs to meet the requirements of our

enterprise clients. 

• Create storyboards and proposals that align with client objectives and learning

outcomes.  

• Support delivery teams in development of instructional materials, including e-learning

modules, instructor-led training resources, and assessments

• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in instructional design and adult

learning principles. 

• Participate in the review and revision process based on feedback from clients and

team members. 

• Develop and grow a given portfolio of learning products based on deep learner and

industry research.

Qualifications: 

• At least two years of prior experience in instructional design, e-learning development,

or related roles in an adult learning setup is mandatory.

• Bachelors degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Communication,

or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred, but not mandatory. 

• Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple projects

simultaneously. 

• Experience working on graphic design software (e.g. Figma, Canva, etc.) and

presentation software (e.g. Powerpoint, Keynote, etc.). 

• Proficient understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design models is

preferred.
