PATIENT SUPPORT LIAISON DESIGNATION : Patient Support Liaison REPORTING TO: GM Customer Care DEPARTMENT : Operations
RESPONSIBLE FOR: Meet and greet services Patients and Relatives
QUALIFICATION : Bachelors degree and interest in Healthcare domain is preferred.
SKILLS REQUIRED :
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick, informed decisions.
• Strong knowledge of departments within the hospital
• Team player with excellent coordination.
Experience : Minimum of 3 years of experience is highly desirable.
The scope of services of a "Patient Support Liaison" at client place and will be to ensure a positive experience for patients and visitors especially when they walk into Hospital. The scope of work will include the undermentioned :-
1. Reception and Greeting
- Welcoming patients and visitors.
- Providing directions and information about hospital facilities and services.
- Assisting with way finding within the hospital and handing over to the concerned staff at Hospital for further
assistance.
- Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
2. Information and Assistance
- Answering general inquiries about hospital services, visiting hours, and locations.
- Assisting patients and visitors with filling out forms and paperwork.
- Participating in initiatives to enhance patient experience based on feedback.
3. Patient Registration Support
- Helping patients with the basic registration process.
- Guiding patients on where to go for their appointments or treatments. 4. Support for Special Needs
- Assisting elderly patients, those with disabilities, or non-English speaking individuals.
- Providing wheelchairs or other assistance as needed.
- Coordinating with hospital services to meet specific patient needs. 5. Coordination and Communication
- Communicating with various hospital departments to facilitate patient services.
- Coordinating with housekeeping, security, and other support services.
- Ensuring smooth communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers.
6. Emergency Support
- Providing assistance during emergencies by directing patients and visitors.
- Coordinating with emergency response teams and security personnel.
- Maintaining calm and order during emergency situations.
