Role & responsibilities

Procurement Planning & execution.

• Local Items
• Imported Items

Ensure Timely Release of Procurement Schedules to Supplier local & Imported.

Review Schedules Plan vs. Actual receipt to take necessary actions timely.

Resolving critical issues & regular follow up with Suppliers to achieve timely Deliveries.

Ensure on time Part Procurement to prevent line stoppage.

Capacity Planning ( n+3 month ) with Suppliers .

Controlling Inventory level as per Safety Stock & Premium freight.

Knowledge & currently using SAP.

ECN / PCN implementation.

Imported Parts planning & procurement handling

Communication & alignment with Overseas suppliers for procurement.

Material movement from Overseas location to own Plant location .

Handling & alignment with Freight Forwarder & CHA for brining shipment to plant.

Imported Material movement from Overseas location to own Plant location .

Improvement actions with suppliers & forwarder to improve deliveries.

Procurement planning and timely highlighting any concern related to procurement

Zero line stoppage.

Alignment of inventory norms.

Planning Procurement to avoid Premium Freight.

Coordination with Finance to release timely payment & advance payment to oversees suppliers

Submission of MIS related inputs in mouth beginning like GIT, advances closure, import buying in next quarter

Preferred candidate profile

Person should be Experienced in Procurement Planning & execution with Local and Imported Suppliers

Should be Experience in MFG Unit
