IT Project Manager

Role & responsibilities :

Technical Architecture

Implementation the cards and payments architecture, ensuring scalability, resilience, and high performance to meet Indian transaction volumes.

Ensure seamless integration with core banking systems and third-party card networks (RuPay, Visa).

Focus on high availability and low-latency performance for real-time transactions.

Security and Compliance

Implement robust security standards aligned with RBI regulations, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001 for cards and payments.

Ensure data protection in line with international and Indian standards.

Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to meet Indian payment regulations, including those from NPCI and RBI.

Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with the bank teams, 3rd parties involved in the project, and payment network partners to ensure regulatory and technical alignment.

Act as the key point of contact for internal business leaders, external vendors, and fintech partners.

Translate technical solutions into business value for non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred candidate profile:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.

Minimum 5+ years in IT leadership roles, with at least 3 years in the Indian banking/fintech domain with proven track record in delivering complex payment solutions and integrations at scale.

Expertise in:

Payment Technologies: UPI, IMPS, NEFT, RTGS, BBPS, and FASTag.

PCI-DSS compliance and card issuance platforms.

Cloud infrastructure (AWS).

API and microservices architecture for fintech integrations.

Data encryption and tokenization for transaction security.
