Job Description
Contribute to development of execution plan for the project
- Contribute to development of SOPs and content as required by the project
- Coordinate with all relevant project stakeholders as required (including government agencies, school authorities, community stakeholders, vendors and partners), secure permissions, keep them updated on project activities and ensure smooth coordination
- Support in recruitment, orientation and management of project implementation team
- Closely monitor and coordinate work of all project team members
- Ensure financial and programmatic efficiency in all project activities as per SOPs and strategies determined by United Way Mumbai
- Support in achievement of project deliverables and assessment of impact
- Ensure financial and programmatic reporting is completed as per required formats and timelines
- Ensure regular updates to and smooth coordination with United Way Mumbai team.
- Master s degree in Social Sciences/ Education (specialization in Education will be preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of work experience- especially in project design, on-ground implementation of the project, etc. Any background or experience working in the field of education or working with youth will be preferred.
- A dynamic and versatile person who can easily connect and effectively work with internal and external stakeholders of the project.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Efficient in community outreach and mobilization.
- Must be efficient in communicating in English and Telugu.
- Candidate must be a team player willing to travel to implement program activities
