Collection Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement collection strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for Home Loans and Loan Against Property portfolios.
Monitor and ensure timely EMI collections from customers and take corrective action to minimize defaults.
Drive the reduction of non-performing assets (NPAs) and improve overall recovery performance.
Team Leadership & Supervision:
Manage and lead a team of collection officers, providing guidance, training, and support to improve their performance.
Conduct regular performance reviews and set KPIs for the collections team.
Customer Interaction:
Engage with customers who have delinquent accounts through phone calls, emails, or personal visits.
Negotiate repayment plans with customers, ensuring collections are made in a customer-friendly and compliant manner.
Legal & Compliance:
Coordinate with the legal team for the filing of legal cases where necessary, especially for high-risk and severely delinquent accounts.
Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, industry regulations, and company policies while managing collection activities.
Reporting & Analytics:
Prepare and present daily/weekly/monthly collection reports to senior management.
Analyze collection trends and develop corrective strategies for overdue accounts.
Maintain detailed records of all collections activities, including payment status, customer interactions, and legal actions.
Risk Management:
Assess risks related to overdue accounts and suggest preventive measures.
Collaborate with internal departments (credit, sales, and legal) to mitigate risks related to collections.
Vendor Management:
Manage relationships with external collection agencies and ensure that they meet performance standards.
Ensure third-party vendors adhere to the company's collection policies and compliance standards.
