Key Responsibilities:
Credit Evaluation and Approval:
Review and assess loan applications and creditworthiness of potential borrowers.
Conduct thorough credit analysis and financial assessments.
Approve or recommend loan approvals within the delegated authority.
Risk Management:
Monitor the branchs credit portfolio to identify and mitigate risks.
Implement strategies to minimize loan defaults and bad debts.
Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory requirements.
Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service to loan applicants and existing borrowers.
Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to credit and loans.
Maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare and maintain accurate credit documentation and records.
Generate regular reports on loan approvals, disbursements, and portfolio performance.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of credit reports to senior management.
Team Leadership:
Supervise and mentor credit staff within the branch.
Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
Foster a collaborative and performance-driven work environment.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with branch management to achieve overall business objectives.
Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and senior management.
Participate in branch meetings and contribute to strategic planning."
