Assistant Manager - Financial Reporting - CA

Uniqus is seeking professionals for our ARC team. As a member of the team, you will work with clients to provide high-quality accounting advisory services, focusing on the application of accounting standards, assisting clients with financial reporting and dealing with complex accounting issues.

You will be responsible for assisting the Manager Associate Director with project execution and management.

Responsibilities:

Consulting clients on diverse business and finance transformation engagements including participating and managing consulting engagements with emphasis on:

- Assist with financial reporting, including the preparation of financial statements w.r.t IFRS and GAAP.

- Diverse business and process improvement engagements.

- CFO agenda-related topics.

- Support the Manager Associate Director to manage client relationships and act as a point of contact for clients.

- Technical accounting advice to clients on complex accounting issues and conduct research on accounting topics and prepare technical memos.

- Ensuring our engagement team thoroughly understands our clients' unique needs, ambitions, and expectations.

- Building relationships with colleagues across multiple service lines to provide seamless integrated service.

- Managing performance and identifying opportunities to improve our services and processes.

The Individual:

- Should have recent experience in the planning, execution, and reporting of financial statements prepared in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP; or recent experience in providing financial reporting advisory services with emphasis over risk identification, assessment and mitigation, finance transformation/optimization, internal control system and process improvement and optimization for multinational and local clients.

- Demonstrate a sound understanding of accounting concepts; stay informed of professional standards; and effectively apply this knowledge to moderately difficult and/or complex client situations.

- Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice, as necessary.

- Possess strong domain knowledge.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work well in teams.

- Ability to work under pressure - stringent deadlines and tough client conditions which may demand extended working hours.

- Demonstrate integrity, values, principles, and work ethic.

Qualification:

- Qualified CAs.

- CA's with experience of working in technical accounting/financial reporting.

- 4-6 years of relevant experience.
