Uniqus - Assistant Manager - Financial Reporting - CA (4-6 yrs)

Assistant Manager - Accounting Advisory:

Uniqus is seeking professionals for our ARC team. As a member of the team, you will work with clients to provide high-quality accounting advisory services, focusing on the application of accounting standards, assisting clients with financial reporting and dealing with complex accounting issues. You will be responsible for assisting the Manager / Associate Director with project execution and management.

Responsibilities:

Consulting clients on diverse business and finance transformation engagements including participating and managing consulting engagements with emphasis on:

- Assist with financial reporting, including the preparation of financial statements w.r.t IFRS and GAAP.

- Diverse business and process improvement engagements.

- CFO agenda-related topics.

- Support the Manager / Associate Director to manage client relationships and act as a point of contact for clients.

- Technical accounting advice to clients on complex accounting issues and conduct research on accounting topics and prepare technical memos.

- Ensuring our engagement team thoroughly understands our clients' unique needs, ambitions, and expectations.

- Building relationships with colleagues across multiple service lines to provide seamless integrated service.

- Managing performance and identifying opportunities to improve our services and processes.

The Individual:

- Should have recent experience in the planning, execution, and reporting of financial statements prepared in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP; or recent experience in providing financial reporting advisory services with emphasis over risk identification, assessment and mitigation, finance transformation/optimization, internal control system and process improvement and optimization for multinational and local clients.

- Demonstrate a sound understanding of accounting concepts; stay informed of professional standards; and effectively apply this knowledge to moderately difficult and/or complex client situations.

- Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice, as necessary.

- Possess strong domain knowledge.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work well in teams.

- Ability to work under pressure - stringent deadlines and tough client conditions which may demand extended working hours.

- Demonstrate integrity, values, principles, and work ethic.

Qualification:

- Qualified CAs.

- CA's with experience of working in technical accounting/financial reporting.

- 4-6 years of relevant experience.
