As a Mainframe Assembler Engineer, you will work on mission-critical banking systems, driving key enhancements, optimizations, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth, high-performing applications. You will have the chance to contribute significantly to banking technology, leveraging your expertise in Connex Technologies, Switch Integration, and System Optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize mainframe systems using Assembler Language Programming to meet the specific needs of banking applications.
• Configure Connex Technologies and Switch Systems for seamless operation and integration with banking environments.
• Troubleshoot and debug mainframe applications, ensuring high performance and minimal downtime for critical banking operations.
• Review and improve mainframe code to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with banking standards.
• Implement performance optimization strategies, focusing on maximizing the performance of banking applications and systems.
• Utilize COBOL, JCL (Job Control Language), DB2, and other mainframe tools to ensure effective data handling and processing in banking applications.
• Ensure the stability and security of the systems by contributing to secure communication platforms and mainframe integration with modern platforms.
• Manage mainframe databases and support the scalability of systems to handle increasing transaction volumes and data complexity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement technical solutions and provide expertise in banking technologies.
• Work on mainframe environment management and optimize system resources for enhanced operational efficiency.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with Assembler Language Programming, especially in the banking domain.
• Strong proficiency in Connex Technologies and Switch Configuration, with a deep understanding of Connex troubleshooting.
• Proven experience in Mainframe Development, with expertise in COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
• In-depth knowledge of system optimization, performance tuning, and mainframe debugging.
• Expertise in mainframe troubleshooting and problem resolution to ensure system stability and minimize downtime.
• Strong experience with mainframe applications, mainframe tools, and mainframe database management.
• Experience with secure communication platforms and ensuring data security in the banking environment.
• Ability to integrate mainframe systems with modern platforms, ensuring smooth coexistence and performance.
• Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-stakes banking environment.
• Mainframe Certifications are a plus.
• Familiarity with mainframe environment management and system scalability.
