Role Overview: Senior Manager - Fundraising & Partnerships
The Senior Manager will be responsible for driving financial sustainability by developing diverse funding streams, fostering key partnerships, ensuring due diligence, and leading fundraising initiatives. This role requires strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and operational execution to support the organization's long-term objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Sustainability & Partnerships
- Develop and manage funding streams, including corporate, foundations, multilateral organizations, alumni networks, and government partnerships.
- Leverage expertise in multilateral and foundation funding to optimize resource acquisition.
- Design and implement engagement strategies to strengthen relationships, ensuring renewals, upgrades, and impactful collaborations.
- Work closely with the Director to tap into an extensive network of potential funders.
- Establish and maintain robust systems and processes to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to MoU commitments.
- Lead and manage strategic collaborations with organizations to drive fundraising initiatives and events.
- Oversee external and internal communications while facilitating legal agreements with partners as required.
- Organize and manage events, including conferences, seminars, concerts, and charity fundraisers, to enhance donor engagement.
2. Due Diligence:
- Conduct in-depth assessments of potential partners to ensure compliance with legal regulations and evaluate their credibility.
- Perform rigorous verification for individuals initiating personal cause campaigns to confirm the authenticity of their needs and fund utilization.
3. Fundraising & Campaign Management
- Assist partners in identifying influential campaign creators or launching their own campaigns.
- Collaborate with the digital marketing and content teams to maximize the success of fundraising campaigns.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality feedback reports to donors and maintain strong communication with partners for transparency.
- Develop a pipeline of impactful campaigns and work with partners to implement them effectively.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in any field with a minimum of 4 years of experience, preferably in a healthcare NGO.
- Strong ability to assess partnership opportunities with a strategic, organizational perspective.
- Basic understanding of the IGF model and its potential for systemic impact.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to track progress, adjust strategies, and drive results.
- Data-driven decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to identify and connect seemingly unrelated opportunities to maximize impact.
- Experience working in unstructured environments with the capability to develop strategies independently.
- Knowledge of managerial techniques to foster collaboration and problem-solving within city and national teams.
- Proven expertise in CSR partnerships, high-net-worth individual (HNI) engagement, and fundraising for charitable causes.
