Position : Delivery Manager
Location : Gurugram, India - 5Days - WFO
Reporting to : Vice President of Engineering and Delivery
Experience : 7+Yrs
Notice Period : Immediate, 15Days or Less.
Role Summary :
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Delivery Manager based in Gurugram, responsible for driving excellence in the recruitment process, client engagement, and resource management. The ideal candidate will seamlessly integrate with clients to understand their requirements, work closely with internal teams, and ensure smooth and timely delivery of high-quality hires. They will also govern the recruitment process and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to prevent any delivery or performance risks.
Key Responsibilities :
1. People Management & Client Engagement
Client Relationship Management :
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding hiring needs and ensuring alignment with their expectations.
- Establish regular communication channels to provide updates, gather feedback, and address client concerns proactively.
- Engage with client-side line managers to manage key resources effectively, ensuring support and smooth coordination.
Team Management & Motivation :
- Foster a positive and motivating work environment to keep resources engaged, motivated, and productive.
- Conduct quarterly town halls to communicate business updates, acknowledge achievements, and address team concerns.
- Implement retention strategies to minimize turnover, particularly for key resources, ensuring continuity and knowledge retention.
- Manage performance appraisals based on clear, factual metrics to ensure fairness and transparency.
Resource Training & Development:
Identify skill gaps and collaborate with the training team to arrange necessary upskilling programs.
Promote a culture of continuous learning and development to ensure that team members are prepared to take on new challenges and roles.
Regularly review performance and provide constructive feedback to help team members grow.
2. Process Governance & Efficiency
End-to-End Recruitment Process:
- Lead the recruitment process, from requirement gathering and screening to onboarding, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Implement strict governance to avoid shortcuts, ensuring each step-screening, interviewing, onboarding-is carried out with precision and quality.
- Follow clear recruitment KPIs and regularly monitor them to assess process efficiency, adjusting strategies as needed.
Onboarding & Performance Monitoring :
- Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires, facilitating their quick integration into teams and projects.
- Regularly seek client feedback on resource performance, using it to drive improvements and address issues swiftly.
- Ensure timely appraisals with well-documented, fact-based feedback, avoiding biases and promoting transparency.
Compliance & Risk Management :
- Ensure all recruitment and onboarding activities comply with company policies, client standards, and legal requirements.
- Develop a contingency plan for resource management to mitigate risks like unexpected attrition, underperformance, or project delays.
- Establish protocols for monitoring compliance in recruitment, onboarding, and employment contracts to avoid any legal or reputational risks.
3. Technology Integration & Data-Driven Decision Making
Tech-Driven Recruitment :
- Leverage recruitment technology and platforms, wherever possible, to streamline the hiring process, ensuring faster and more efficient hiring cycles.
- Use data analytics tools or automate google sheets to track performance metrics, predict hiring needs, and optimize recruitment strategies.
- Introduce automation where feasible to reduce manual workload and eliminate errors, particularly in repetitive tasks like screening and onboarding documentation.
Continuous Improvement through Data :
- Regularly analyze hiring data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Use insights to optimize the recruitment process, improve client satisfaction, and reduce time-to-hire.
- Implement technology/ solutions that enhance transparency, communication, and workflow management between hiring teams, clients, and candidates.
Technology Upgradation & Training :
- Stay updated on the latest recruitment technologies and tools, introducing innovations that enhance the hiring experience.
- Ensure that the team is well-versed with the tools and platforms in use, providing training whenever a new system is introduced.
Qualifications & Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is a plus.
- 8+ years of experience in delivery management, client engagement, or recruitment in a technology services environment.
- Proven experience working with diverse technology stacks and managing end-to-end recruitment processes.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Experience in leading teams, managing performance, and conducting appraisals.
- Ability to handle pressure and perform in a fast paced environment.
