About the Role:
- We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Business Development Manager (SBDM) to join our dynamic team in Pune.
- This role is crucial for driving growth in the Semiconductor, Automotive, and Metering industries.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan:
- Identify and qualify new leads in the assigned market segments (Semiconductor, Automotive, Metering).
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
- Develop and implement territory plans to achieve sales targets.
- Forecast sales pipeline and revenue.
Manage the sales cycle:
- Build strong relationships with potential and existing customers.
- Understand technical requirements and propose solutions that meet customer needs.
- Prepare compelling presentations and proposals.
- Negotiate pricing and contracts to win deals.
- Manage customer accounts and ensure satisfaction.
- Handle rejections/RMA and coordinate effectively with clientele.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with FAEs, PMs, and other internal teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Maintain regular communication with principals and suppliers.
- Prepare clear and concise reports on sales activities and performance.
Travel:
- Be prepared for occasional travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
Qualifications:
Education:
- MBA or equivalent degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
Experience:
- 5-6 years of proven experience in a B2B sales role, preferably within the Semiconductor, Automotive, or Metering industries.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and managing large accounts.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of technical concepts relevant to the assigned market segments.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software (Zoho/ERP).
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
